Building bridges and inspiring people to meaningful movements is my passion.People are social, creative creatures. You want to set something in motion, create something, put something in the world, be meaningful. People experience added value when they move with others. On the move for something that inspires, something important because it creates value. A movement that bridges differences and contributes to greater
interest and goal.
Development of organizations and communities goes hand in hand with people who take personal leadership over their own development and role. If they connect with what deeply moves them and with the motives of others and the organization, a strong movement towards result-oriented, shared leadership arises. Leadership that is shareable and transferable; a movement from individual to collective, from competition to complement, from ego to eco, from power to authority.
I find my inspiration in building bridges, in connecting impulse, purpose and strategy, personal and organizational development. Stimulating the synergistic power of shared leadership; creating a moving encounter.

Building Bridges. My passion is building bridges and inspiring people to meaningful movements. I started of building bridges in concrete and then switched to building bridges between people.
I began my international career as a civil engineer. After that, I worked in emergency relief with Doctors without Borders in Former Yugoslavia, Congo, Afghanistan and Sierra Leone and became operational director in 1997. In 2001, I became a Peacebuilder working as statutory director at PAX, an international peace organization dedicated to crisis prevention and resolution. As COO I led processes of professionalization, merger, rebranding and re-positioning and the change to self-organization.
By 2017, I became an independent entrepreneur and developer in the field of leadership, dialogue and the development of organizations, communities and individuals. I dream, think and act. I coach, advise, support, build and initiate.
